Just bought my first Pacemaker Speed Graphic and there appears to be an issue with the selector slide and the body shutter release button. The switch is a bit stiff. And the body shutter button won’t trigger the the focal plane shutter when selector is set to rear. But shutter releases fine when switch is pushed to trigger. Any ideas on what is issue and how to fix? |

The selector switch is to be pushed in then pushed to the front or rear trip position as desired. If it has been forced to rear return it to front, press in then slide to rear.
If this does not work the cover plate for the FPS will need to be removed, linkage lubricated with a small amount of light weight grease, and the cover reattached.
Which version do you have side/no rangefinder or top rangefinder? _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |
