I have read somewhere that certain 120 or 220 inserts work in some RH-50 holders which was intended for 67/70mm insert. But there are variants which do not allow this. i have the variant which can take these.
So which versions of these inserts or inserts from which backs are working in RH-50. i am especially interested in 6x9 120 and 220.
it seems i must look for these, rigth?
RH-8 (6x9cm) for 120 size RH-20 (20exp 6x7cm) for 220 size

There were two sets of models: the numbered series and the RH series. The numbered series includes the Graflex "22" (2-1/4" sq.) and the Graflex "23" (2-1/4 x 3-1/4, though there was some variation +/- 1/4" in various models.)
In the later RH series, there were 3 image sizes: RH-12 (2.25" sq 6x6), RH-10 (2.25x2.75"6x7) and RH-8 (2.25x3.25"6x9) and holders were made for 2.25x3.25/6x9, 3.25x4.25/8x11cm approx. and 4x5" cameras with either Graflok or Graflex backs. The RH-20 appears to be the only back designed for 220 film (2-1/4 x 2-3/4).
2x3-Graflok is the mount of RB67-camera where RB-back-adapter is removed right? since i have a version of RH-50 with that adapter(with 4 pins). so i have a 2x3-graflok to 4x5 graflok-adapter mounted on my RH50 right?

Some Graflex Graphic roll film holders have a tab that prevents them from fitting in older shells. That tab can be filed off the insert so it fits into the older shell.
The film format is determined by the shell, not the insert. A 6x6 insert in a 6x7 shell will have extreme overlapping. A 6x9 insert in a 6x7 shell will have wide spaces between frames. A 6x7 insert be it RH10 or RH20 should have 1mm to 3mm space between frames in a 6x7 shell.

The RH50 was made for the XL camera. The 4 pin plate is for the Graphic XL. The 4 pin plate can be removed so that the RH50 can be used on other 2x3 cameras.

No when removing the 4pin-plate then 4x5 is left. no connector to 2x3-cam.
maybe we dont mean the same backs:
RH-12 (6x6cm)
RH-10 (6x7cm)
RH-8 (6x9cm) for 120 size 220also available?
RH-20 (20exp 6x7cm) for 220 size
RH-50 (50exp 6x7cm) for 70mm film.

These roll film backs were supplied on different size mounting plates for 2 1/4 x 3 1/4"(57x83mm),
3 1/4 x 4 1/4"(82 x 108mm) and 4x5" cameras so be sure to choose the right model for your camera.
RH10/20 67/120/220
RH8 6x9/120

1. i purchased a 6x7/220 graflex insert (from RH20)thinking it would match the RH50. but thats a big error. the rails are 88.5mm(RH50 rsp 73.5mm(insert) apart.
