Can the focal plane shutters be replaced? One Pacemaker I have is without one. Someone ripped it out long ago.

Thanks,

Mark Z

Are the top and bottom rollers still in there ?

If they are you can replace the curtain but you'll have to make a new curtain,
the hardest part will be fabricating new aperture stays for the
curtain apertures.

Yea, the rollers are still there. I wouldn't even know where to start with making the slots! Just thought maybe someone had a pattern.

See: http://graflex.org/helpboard/viewtopic.php?t=6445
You will need 2 yards of bellows cloth to make a curtain.
The aperture stays are .009 inch thick copper for 2x3, 3x4, and 4x5 camera shutters. You will have to remove the curtain from your good camera and use it as a template for the new curtain.
Making a new curtain is a lot of precision work. I'll make one for you for $150+materials+shipping. You might find a beater parts body for less that has a good curtain in it.
