Hi, I'm brand new to LF and Graflex.org. I hope someone can help me out here.
I'm considering the purchase of a Fuji PA-45 Back for my recently acquired Speed, as I'd like to do test shots before I start burning up the regular sheet film.
Now, the product description says the film plane is "4.5mm from the face of the holder". How does this affect my focus? If I focus on the glass will I be off on the film?
Apologies if this is an annoyingly basic question, but I'm a real neophyte at this. (As in, I haven't taken my first exposure yet.) Thanks in advance.

Hi Mitya138

if you are using a 4x5 Speed all should be OK!!
focus on the ground glass & then put in your Fuji PA-45 Back
and take a shot it should be just fine

Thanks, Banjo. That's good news. Now I have to decide if the $300 price (in Japan) is worth it. It would mean eating nothing but instant noodles for the foreseeable future!
