I am wondering if it is possible to easily lube the shutter. I know enough about myself to see that if I disassemble it I will never ever get it re assembled.

It is a Supermatic (Ektar f4.7 127mm). The assembly cleaned up very well with lighter fluid, all speeds work fine now including B and T but the speed select ring is very sticky. When it is wet (with naptha) the ring moves very easily but upon drying is nearly impossible to move.

Any tips for the mechanically challenged (low tech has always confused me).

Remove front and rear lens elements, spritz in solution of Ronsonol lighter fluid and very fine powdered graphite. Work shutter through all speeds. Allow innards to dry thoroughly before replacing elements!
