I have one of these in the collection and apart from it looking a very Busch-like 4x5 I can't find any info at all. I know they were made in Toronto, Canada but that's it.
Any info at all would be gratefully received. Thanks, Bruce

That's a new one on me. Maybe they never imported to the states. I'd check with some of the Toronto museums. You can always find some info on the company through city directories/gazateers, which may lead to something.

Hi again, further to my query about info on the B&W Press King here are four photos of it:






As you can see it is aluminium bodied with a non-revolving spring back, Kalart rangefinder and sports finder. This one is serial number PM1739.

After much physical persuasion I've discovered it does have a revolving back. The diagonal corners gave it away but a previous owner had the back turned upside down, a position it wasn't really meant to be in and it was seized tight. Now it revolves as it should with click stops and all! Cheers, Bruce
