I have a 3-cell Graflite with outlets that go around the battery chamber near the top. Loaded a fresh set of D batteries, and it doesn't seem to work. Is there a trick to it, or does it require repair? I'd like to clean it up...it's very worn and dirty.

Also, does anyone know where to buy new old stock or new cords for them? The ones I have are stiff and brittle. I need the one that plugs in the shutter and the synchronization pellet.

Thanks!
