Hi there my name is Don Steiner and just came into possession of a Folmer Aero Camara model K-5 from the Folmer Graflex Corp. The lens is a ZENAR F: 4,5 F=30 cm by JOS. Schneider & Co Kreuznach No. 245965. The camera has a stamp on the left front of housing No. 165842 as well as a number on the inside left film drum No. 71387. The camara appears to be in very good condition. Any help that you maybe able to share with me would be very appreicated. Thank you Don

Interesting. According to Schneider (see http://www.schneiderkreuznach.com/service/serie.htm ), the lens was made in 1928.

The "Not the Serial number book...But" post in Serial Number Savy forum lists 162053 as 1928 and 167748 as late 1929 or 1930 indicating that your camera was probably built in 1928 or 1929.
