I have a graphic view II with a recesssed lens board..

Will there be a problem with a 90mm lens?

Or can I go even wider with it?
Or will I run into bellows problems?

thanks!

A 90mm lens should be no problem with a recessed board. One thing you want to take into account is the covering power of the lens.
A 90mm Angulon can cover 4x5 with moderate movements for a Graphic, but the generous movements of a view camera usually means you need a lens that covers 5x7 so you won't run out of lens when you start swinging and tilting.
That's why they made the 90mm Super Angulon which covers 5x7 and a bit more.

I'm not sure if you can go wider, but movements will be limited because the pleated bellows will be so tight, it can't move. (and the reason they invented the bag bellows)

So I should be looking for a super angalon?

Did kodak or Graflex make this lens? Like my 127 and 203mm?

No the Super Angulon came later, as in the 60s after Kodak bailed out of the lens and pro camera market. These were made by Schneider. They show up on ebay most of the time and major used dealers will have one. They are very common, but not cheap. This was one of two prime lenses that I used for my high end work for several years. Do a search on ebay for Super Angulon and see what you can see.

I just realized that the recessed lens board is very small on the Graphic View. Before you buy ask what size the shutter is. It may not fit!
