In a recent batch of treasure (junk) were several documents from a company called Romney and Associates who were doing Graflex restoration work in the early '70s. They were located in Forest City, North Carolina. The documents included correspondence about a replacement hood for a 3A, which must have turned out successfully as the old hood was in the batch of stuff I got. The company also catalogued older cameras they offered, including such morsels as "6 1/2 by 8 1/2 Cycle Graphic". They appeared to offer a complete range of restoration and rebuilding services.

I wonder what ever happened to them; anyone here remember them?

Could this be the late Ed Romney, who sold repair manuals and parts until his death?

Edward H. Romney, according to the signature block on my documents. So it's the same guy. He was doing business as "Romney and Associates" in the restoration business described above. I wonder how long he kept that business going, and what happened to it.

Ed's wife is still maintaining the business and selling manuals. Do a search on the web...you will find it.
