I just got this and in looking it over it seems that the return path for the film subjects it to a severe bend right at the point where the second spool picks up the film. There isn't even a roller on the hinged back where the film is evidently dragged around a sharp corner. I have never heard of any problems with the Calumet backs; any comments?
Also, where is the index point for loading the film? there are no markings to show the stop point. My back is a 220. |

I believe Calumet will provide a manual upon request. |

I can send you a copy of the instructions if you cant find it.I think I found mine at South Bristol Views. Mine is the 120/220 version and it tells how to index both. Mine has teflon tape at the "hard bend in theroad". Also be warned, this wont work with every type Spring back as, I have one on a GVII where the "horns" of the spring back wont clear the roll housing. It works fine on my Graflok's tho.

Thanks, all. Mine is an older 220 back, and did not show a start point for 120. I figured it out with a test roll. The sharp bend does not seem to bother the 120 film, although I would still be scared of it for the unbacked 220 stuff. Mine does not have the teflon strip at that point, but does have one at the roller end. Anyway, things look OK so now I just have to use it. |

Hello,
At the risk of sounding forward, I am looking for an owners or service manual, preferably with parts breakdown for my own recently acquired C2 model holder. I would be happy to pay for scanning, copying, mailing costs etc.
thank you
