I'm a newbie to the Graflex SLRs and just purchased a 3x4 Super D from ebay. I have read the flash section of the Super D manual, and I'm still not sure if I can synchronize with modern flash (namely my Lumedyne system).
The camera I purchased, while in excellent condition, is the older style that has the flash sync on the left side panel (as you stand behind the camera). According the Super D manual, I cannot use electronic flash.
Has anyone adapted their Super D for a modern flash, and if so, how do I do it (or who can perform the upgrade)?
FWIW, here is the link to the camera:

Thanks,
R.J.
