I was cleaning my speed graphic today and took off the ground glass to clean a little corrosion around the area. There had been a tiny crack on the corner and when I went to put it back on, the glass broke. Does anyone have a suggestion on making a new one of these? It basically looks like some picture glass with one side frosted. Can I get some glass cut and spray it with some kind of matte spray? Let me know,
Thanks,

In an emergency go to a quilt shop and get some quilters template. Then cut a piece of picture frame glass to fit. Put the template in front of the glass and re-assemble. Not quite as good as real ground glass but better than the spray. Next look for some new ground glass. Be sure and re-check your infinity setting. Russ |

I ordered a replacement ground glass from s.k. Grimes. It fit perfect. Now I leave it alone! |
