I've just received a 4x5 Auto Graflex and I'm trying to fix the few problems it has. At some stage the focussing screen appears to have been replaced with something that looks almost home made. I'll probably get a new one from Satin Snow, but in the meantime I'm wondering whether the ground side should be face up or down?
FWIW the serial no is 141580 - is there any way of working out how old it is?
thanks,
Paul |

Thanks for the responses - I've reinstalled the ground glass and once I've made a new lensboard it'll be ready to go.
I've posted on the serial number forum too. Thanks for pointing that out, I wouldn't have thought to look for something that specialised. |
