I have come across an
Auto Graflex Portrait Camera in a
friend's house in another state.
Is it 5x7?
It has a 13.5 cm Tessar lens, if that helps.
Does this focus "opened up" like the Super D?
Is it worth saving?
thanks,
ethan

I'll take it off your hands

Home Portrait Graflex; 1912-1940; 5 X 7; Revolving Graflex Back; shutter speeds 1/2 to 1/500, T.; Focal capacity 18"(457mm).
Post serial number, located on the view hood opening stamped into the metal edge of the opening or just behind the hood, and give details about the front standard and lens board(s) mount as that is where production changes were made.
They sold for $150, body only, in 1912.

Pictures in the history book suggest it should work simular to a Series B,C,D or Super D. That Mahogany the body is made of is getting very dry and brittle, so unless you use a hammer or pry bar it should be fine. If its complete it won't take more than some careful disassembly, cleaning and luberication to get it working like new.
