Just bought a Fiskar trimmer $9.95 added a guide and by making 2 cuts with 4x5 you end up with 3x4 and you still have the notches. Works good in the daylight now to try it in the dark. Also J and C Photo told me they would have 3x4 film this week. Russ

Another and slightly cheaper alternative is to cut down 5x7 film into to 3.25 x 4.25 sheets. At current B&H prices, FP4 would work out to .60 a sheet compared to .72 for 4x5 cut down. Of course you loose the notches on one of the sheets and they are on the wrong edge on the other.
