Hi...First off, you would do well to get the manual for the camera and also a 10th or 11th edition of "Graphic Graflex Photography" by Morgan & Lester (long out of print). The book can usually be found on that E online auction site. For the manual check with John at:
http://www.craigcamera.com
He may even have the GGP book as well, i'm not sure. I also believe the manual can be found at the RichS website at:
http://www.southbristolviews.com
A great way to familiarize yourself about the camera are the 2 above books, reading online descriptions of cameras on the E auction site, spend some time reading the pages off the main Graflex.Org homepage. The FAQ section and cameras descriptions have alot of info. Then read here:
http://www.graflex.org/old-helpboard (read only)
This current helpboard has alot of invaluable information and research that users have done...utilize the "search" function to narrow down the scope of your interests.
All of this is the way I got going with these great old cameras.
Hope this helps and welcome to the Wide World of Graphics!!! |
