Hi!
I'm new to the list (although I've been lurking for a while).
I'm about to get a Speed 2x3 - hopefully in working condition - with Ektar 101mm.
I've read that others have also come to the conclusion that lens from older Polaroids (cheap on eBay) can be used for 2x3 (even 4x5) Graphics.
So, my question is: which Polaroid models (apart from Pathfinder with Rodenstock Ysarex 127mm) can be used as "sources" for lens to be used on Speed 2x3?

TIA,

Denis

there really isn't much from the Polaroid cameras that can be salvaged for you Speed unless it has a seperate shutter and aperture. That limits it to the Yasrex which is a great lens if you can find one without the patherfinder camera.

The other source is the lens set from the Polaroid copy cameras-- MP3, MP4. They used a single shutter and several lens elements or cells. You can find these under the Tominion name, and while they are okay at infinity, they really are designed for close up work, so I don't think they will be leaps and bounds better than your 101 ektar.
