Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I have a wide angle lens (90mm), mounted on a 3x4 anniversary speed graphic. The lens cannot be recessed as it is mounted in a shutter. With the ground glass I can set the lens to infinity, but it isn't on the bed tracks, it is still in the body. So I can setup a normal infinity stop. As this lens has so much depth of field, I have a focus scale setup for focussing. But having to use the ground glass every time to setup infinity is defeating the purpose!

Thanks for your suggestions!

I meant to say I *can't* use a normal infinity stop!

If you had a Pacemaker you could just put one fold-down stop on the left rail positioned so that when the front standard is slid back to it the lens is focused on infinity. IIRC, you don't have that option with an Anniversary. You could make a little fixture that would lay on and between (lower section fits between, upper section rests on) the rails and mark it so that when its aligned with a landmark on the bed and the front standard is pulled up to you the lens will be at infinity. I've actually been discussing something like this with Steve Grimes, if you can't make one yourself ask him how much he'll charge.

Cheers,

Dan

Nope, you did mention it and I made a suggestion about how you could proceed.

Cheers,

Dan
