Okay, canabalized parts from a Crown Graphic to rehabilitate a Speed Graphic. Want to replace the shutter release cable. On the Speed Graphic, the cable is attached to a lever assembly that is rocked foward when the shutter release on the side of the camera is depressed. It is attached by what looks like a screw without a slot. On the Crown Graphic, the cable was attached directly to the pard that would rock the lever foward. Is this a difference between Speed and Crown Graphics? Could I arttach the cable directly to the thing that does the rocks the lever on the Speed Graphic (if I can figure out the strange screw that seems to have no slot attaching the cble to the lever on my Speed? Ideas? Opinions? Thoughts? Thanks.

Speed and Crown are attached the same way, both would have a screw attached to the
swinging arm inside, and a 'cable-bracket' (attached to the cable housing coil,(looks like a brake cable on a bicycle))would be anchored seperatly to the body! One caution, COVER THAT SLOT with scotch tape before attempting to replace the screws...very difficult to get the screws out of the trigger mechanism, if it falls into the slot, and I can assure you, it will!!!!!
