I recently purchased (cheap) a 3X4 RB Auto Graflex,(SerNo 50819) for the lens. Got it home and found it has the same lens as my Tele (B&L Tessar Series 1C)...SO, I've decided to try and ressurect this beast...looks like it's been under water. The good news is that the lens is in perfect shape, and the shutter APPEARS to work, at least on the fast end.
The leather is about half off, what is the best glue to put it back,(when I get that far)?
Where can I get some of the small brass screws... a bunch broke the heads off, and will need replacing.
Thanks,
DonH |

#2 brass, flat head, wood screws that are common in most graflex cameras should be available at any good hardware store.
Elmers PROBOND Contact Cement (at Office anything) is rapidlly becoming my glue of choise for everything.
