I have a great Super Speed---and the electronic release still works!
However, I notice that Eveready has discontinued the 22.5 battery.

I used to get them at Battery Plus--no luck now. Also got them at Mid West Photo---but they stopped, too.
Any suggestons?

and the 3rd link
http://www.batteriesinaflash.com/special-application/eveready-412-carbon-zinc-22-5v-battery-neda-215-15f20-blr122
both appear to have stock available.

Hey, I"m back in the game. I like the electronic release more than a cable. Two years ago, I had the Rodenstock 135mm rebuilt--works perfectly!

I may have found a workaround for the 412 battery discontinuance. I fabricated a small plexiglass tray that holds a pair of type N (A23) 12v alkaline batteries (inexpensive!) in series with a pair of silicon diodes (-1.4v drop) to yield 22.6 volts. I checked the voltage and will build a second one to be able to test the Super Graphic. CAUTION - this is untested and requires careful fabrication and soldering skills. Try at your own risk.

I found this cell:

http://www.batteriesinaflash.com/special-application/exell-412a-alkaline-22-5v-battery-neda-215-15f20-blr122

At $30 - ouch.... x 2 for the Super/Speed Graphic.

I am still pursuing my adapter that takes a pair of cheap A23 cells.

Midwest phopto supplies has them on their site at ~$6.87

I can't guarantee stock, and since I'm in Australia, don't have a lot to do with them, but you can but try.

Good luck ! Rick
