Wollensak 65mm f/6.8 Raptar in Rapax shutter with Graphic 23 lens board (320910019030) sold for $174.00

Hey that gitting up there! I can't find what I payed for my 65mm f/6.8 Raptar
or my Optar 65mm f/6.8 But I payed $235.00 for my f6.8 / 65mm Angulon
AND I do know that we don't see a lot of the Raptar // Optar 65mm on ebad
SO maybe this is an OK price $174.00 what do you all think??

anyway I have been looking at my 65mm lens and the Georg-Leitmeyr don't
seem to have as good of a Image Circle Diameter as the Raptar // Optar 65mm
or the Angulon 65mm that are all about the same at about 109mm @ f16
I was thanking that the Angulon would have a biger ICD then the Raptar // Optar 65mm do BUT its not much different that I can see I put them all on my Calumet CC402 so I could get a good look at there ICD
and the Georg-Leitmeyr 65mm has about a ICD of 95mm and that not as good as the 109mm Raptar // Optar or Angulon 65mm

Too much, IMO, but there's no accounting for auction results.

Also, IMO, 65/6.8 Optar/Raptar and 65/6.8 Angulon are functionally equivalent. Different designs, same performance.

Agree with Dan. I paid $75 for my 65 Optar in Graphex M-F-X at a camera show (remember those?) a few years (10?) ago. Dicey lens; focus by "least worst" method. When it's on, it's good.

I paid $150 for my 65mm Optar back about ten years ago. Of course, it was in it's original box, already mounted on a Century Graphic board, and had it's instruction sheet. I think though that $235 is WAY too much for a 65mm F/6.8 Angulon. For that I think you overpaid. In fact I'm convinced Angulon/Super Angulon's are overpriced in general. But I'm cheap. Out of the 50+ plus lenses I own the above Optar is the second most expensive one. The only one I paid more for was the 10 inch Raptar. I paid $175 for that one. Most of the rest were $50 or less.
