Thanks to the miricale of Craigslist, I just purchased a near-complete KS-6 Graflex KE-4 kit. I've got the body, standard + 200mm lens, flash, flash cord, filters + filter holder, a couple of film cans and a few other items. Everything except the camera body appears to be in great condition - no mold or marks.

Only problem - the kid (early 20's) I bought it from admitted that he thought it was a toy camera (due to it's size) and partially dissasembled it about 10 yeas ago. The body is missing a few controls, like the shutter speed knob, the film cutter lever, a bunch of screws. It looks like he got the top plate off before he realized it wasn't a toy. All the removed parts are lost. The camera was owned by his grandfather, along with a lot of other gear.

Do I stand any chance at all of getting this camera repaired and working again? any tips or advice?

I'll post some pictures once I get a few taken.

Thanks!

Hi Robb,

The only place I've ever seen several of these, and parts, is at http://www.kevincameras.com so go to the bottom of the front page and click on the Classic and Collectables link. You will see an album called Graflex_KE-4. Have a look in there.
No doubt expensive but...

As for working on them I have no idea who to recommend, but someone else might???

Cheers,
Bruce
