I purchased a Super Speed for field work. It came with the 135 mm Optar in the Graflex 1000 shutter. It does go to 1/625 second according to my repairman, and I have the shutter speeds posted on the camera until I can get in cleaned and adjusted. My question is, and I have looked at some of the various charts posted, but my understanding is limited. I would like a wider angle lens. A 90 mm seems like a good choice. Are the 90's on the smaller Graflex the same as the ones that cover 4x5? If I purchased a 2x3 Graflex with a 90 mm lens, would I get enough coverage for my 4x5? Does anyone have a suggestion for a good sorce for lenses? Thanks

the 90mm Angulon, Optar, Raptar and 88mm B&L will all cover 4x5 with moderate movements

I have the 90mm optar and love it. I sometimes mount it on my gowland pocket view for backpacking because it's lightweight and surprisingly sharp IMHO:)
